POLAS - Your Studio
Full production
Base of Studio POLAS services is production of videos in full (e.g.documentaries from various areas, popular-scientic movies, educational movies, manual and industrial videos, PR or internal communication videos) and spots.
By full production we mean really full service on our own equipment. The client decides the extent of his involvement in the production and how much time to spend on it; our production staff is able to work independently and the client can approve only crucial production points with minimal time demands.
A very important element when ordering a project is the client's idea about the final use of the recording according to which certain phases of production technology must be adapted. Samples of work you may find here.
Separate services
Of course we provide all services included in turnkey program production separately as well. This involves primarily the acquisition of primary video recordings, on-line and off-line, editing work, dubbing, subtitles, music mixing, transcription work, transcoding all color systems and converting video materials to PC format. Further, we transcribe 8 and 16 mm films and conversion of audio media (vinyl phonograph records, magnetic tapes, CC-casettes) to digital format.
Equipment rentals, presentation events
Studio POLAS also rents out its production equipment, especially cameras and other video technology and editing rooms (two non-linear on PC base, transfer and copy workplace, studio for audio recording). We also specialize in technically ensuring turnkey presentation and other public events
(large surface, projections of all types, multi-camera recording with direct editing, and image mixing with output from PC, AV signal distribution, etc.).
Media training, consulting
Sought-out services include consulting, advisory and training activities on audiovisual promotion and advertising. In cooperation with renowned personnel agencies the studio offers turnkey courses in various forms in the rapidly developing field of media training, and if the client wishes comprehensive ensuring of their technical part (radio studio, TV studio with several cameras, lighting, and high-quality sound recording). Depending on clients' needs we offer consulting on investments in equipment for recording or reproducing images and sound.
Special projects
The Polas studio experts have experience with Internet transmissions and the operation of Internet television and the construction of advertising channels on Internet TV circuits (hotels, conventions, events, etc.). As part of these services they are also prepared to technically resolve customers' non-standard, specific requirements. Our specialists are often invited to events of other subjects to work as technical advisors and supervisors.
CD-ROM, DVD authoring
Computer-based editing sets can be used alongside digital-quality processing of images and sound and for preparing video material for CD-ROM or the Internet with compression adjusted for lower resolution, for DVD authoring including menu creation, preparation of documents for DTP with the use of video materials, and many others. For presentation programs with the possible use of photographic materials, audio and video components, our technologies are able to process software and supply hardware needed, turnkey configuration, including on-site installation.
Projection room and recording studio
Studio Polas also has its own variable projection room with large-screen projection and five-channel surround sound that can be used for presentations, training, and social purposes or for recording studio sequences. For high-quaity sound recording in a separate space with a window to the hall there is sound direction with eight-track digital recording, a mixer board, microphones of all types, monitors, and other equipment.
